Trellis - Finished!

I'll bet you're happy that you won't have to hear any more about this!
Top braces and flashing all done. I will run some string from the rear top to the wisteria bush to train the vines for next spring.

You'll need something stronger than string- 1x3x6's are less than $2 at Lowes!

Good job, Grandmom would love it!

Maybe I'll buy some wire. The wisteria vines are growing already but they are very small in diameter. Once they grab hold of the trellis then the wire will not be needed and anyway, it will rust away eventually.

No, I think she actually does love it. It was for her that I did all this work. A new owner of the property wouldn't even know that a trellis was there. Who knows, a new owner may even tear it down. For you see, it was God that created the circumstances that put me here to do this work. No turning back now.
