It was a NASCAR Memorial Day Sunday celebration at Crystal Cathedral on the 24th. The morning service was replete with the local VFW post posting the colors, patriotic songs, and the unfurling of a huge American flag about 50 by 100 feet up to the heights of the cathedral. After the service we were treated to a display of NASCA driver Blake Koch’s #21 and burgers by In-N-Out.

We return for the evening serivce and I got this picture of the flag from the outside through the glass walls of the cathedral.
